Music is an important part of our services at Calvary Road Baptist. As singers,musicians, and multi media our goal is to worship and bring honor to Christ Jesus through our talents. We feel that it is more than just singing songs, but that the message of the songs will glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus, so that His Spirit may direct us toward His Holy Presence.

Our music ministries consist of the following choirs.

ADULT CHOIR: composed of all our adult singers and praiseteam which are arranged into four sections. This choir sings at both Sunday morning services and the Wednesday evening service. They also are involved in our annual Christmas program, THE GIFT.

GOSPEL PRAISE: consists of our young adults which are part of the adult choir. They sing every Sunday morning at the 11:00 am service.

FAITH IN ACTION: The first Sunday afternoon of each month, at 2:00 pm these two groups met at various rest home facilities in the county to sing and minister to our elderly.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY: is open to all children that have an interest in music and Bible studies (ages 3 year old – 5th grade). This program starts each September and ends the last of April. You may request an application at our church office or at any of our regular services. (See our Children’s minstrey page for a schedule.)

BEGIN 2 WORSHIP and ME 2 CHOIR: are the 3 year olds through 1st grade age children. They learn basic tempo through percussion instruments and singing.

CELEBRATION CHOIR: consist of our 2nd through 5th grade children who learn basic music theory, hand bells, and singing.

These choirs sing at various times in our services and also are involved with musicals each year.

Our two  Sunday morning services continue to be a blessing. The Early service begins at 8:15 am followed by Sunday School starting after at 9:30 am till 10:30 am. The Second service begins at 11:00am. The music will be the same style in both services as we have had in our previous services. Our new rehearsal times are as follows:
